Erect, open, non-lignotuberous shrub, to 2 m high. Fl. yellow, Aug to Oct. Laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1.5-2 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 75-180 mm long, 8-20 mm wide, hairy; petiole 7-15 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, deeply divided, with 4-10 lobes on each side, the margins recurved. Inflorescences villous (with soft, shaggy, weak and straight hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 8-10 mm long, hairy. Perianth 24-27 mm long, glabrous, without awns; pistil 25-29 mm long, straight, style glabrous. Follicles hairy, hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), oblong, 6-9 mm long. Flowers in August or September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
