Sprawling to erect, non-lignotuberous shrub, 1.8-3 m high, to 3 m wide. Fl. cream-yellow, Aug to Oct. Gravelly loam. Lateritic rises.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-2 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 60-165 mm long, 11-22 mm wide, hairy; petiole 10-15 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with 4-11 lobes on each side, the margins recurved. Inflorescences pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 10-12 mm long, hairy. Perianth 25-29 mm long, glabrous, without awns; pistil 24-29 mm long, straight, style hairy. Follicles hairy, hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), ovate, 7-8 mm long. Flowers in August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Four (P4).
