Prostrate or procumbent, non-lignotuberous shrub. Fl. cream, Jul. Sand over clay or laterite, sandy loam.
Scientific Description
Prostrate shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 105-165 mm long, 2-5 mm wide, hairy; petiole 55-70 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided or divided only at the apex, divided to the midrib, teeth distinctly pointing towards the apex, with 7-18 lobes on each side, the margins revolute. Inflorescences pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), brown; innermost bracts 36-39 mm long, hairy. Perianth 27-33 mm long, glabrous, without awns; pistil 23-34 mm long, straight or curved, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, obovate, 14-17 mm long. Flowers in July. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
