Erect or straggling, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.3-1.5 m high. Fl. yellow, Sep to Oct. Laterite.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1.5 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 105-400 mm long, 2-10 mm wide, hairy; petiole 6-10 mm long; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with 5-16 lobes on each side, the margins recurved. Inflorescences hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 9-12 mm long, hairy. Perianth 25-27 mm long, glabrous, without awns; pistil 26-36 mm long, curved, style hairy. Follicles glabrous, elliptic, 9-13 mm long. Flowers in October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
