Erect, open, non-lignotuberous shrub, 1.2-4 m high. Fl. yellow, Jun to Nov. White/grey sand, gravelly clay or loam. Winter-wet flats, clay flats.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1.5-3 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 40-65 mm long, 5-9 mm wide, hairy; petiole 10-15 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, shallowly divided, with 3-7 lobes on each side, the margins flat. Inflorescences pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 7-9 mm long, hairy. Perianth 18-20 mm long, glabrous, without awns; pistil 22-25 mm long, curved, style hairy. Follicles glabrous, ovate, 8-13 mm long. Flowers in June, July, August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Swan Coastal Plain (SWA) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Threatened (T).
