Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 60-110 mm long, 5-15 mm wide, hairy; petiole 25-40 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with 5-7 lobes on each side, the margins revolute. Inflorescences hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), cream, pink or brown; innermost bracts 10-12 mm long, hairy. Perianth 12-15 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 17-20 mm long, curved, style glabrous. Follicles hairy, hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), ovate, 7-9 mm long. Flowers in July or August. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Four (P4).
