Lignotuberous, branching shrub, to 0.6 m high. Fl. yellow, Jul. Dry grey sand over laterite with surface boulders. Rises.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.50-1 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 100-185 mm long, 10-20 mm wide, hairy; petiole 6-10 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, deeply divided, with 17-20 lobes on each side, the margins flat. Inflorescences pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 20-22 mm long, hairy. Perianth 30-34 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 34-40 mm long, curved, style glabrous. Flowers in July or August. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority One (P1).
