Prostrate, sprawling, mat-forming, lignotuberous shrub, 0.2-0.35 m high, 0.6-4 m wide. Fl. white-cream, Jul to Aug. White/grey sand, sandy loam.
Scientific Description
Prostrate shrubs, 0.30-0.40 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 150-350 mm long, 20-30 mm wide, hairy; petiole 20-35 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with 30-40 lobes on each side, the margins recurved. Inflorescences villous (with soft, shaggy, weak and straight hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 25-35 mm long, hairy. Perianth 37-40 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 37-40 mm long, straight or curved, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, obovate, 11-15 mm long. Flowers in July. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Four (P4).
