Scientific Description

Prostrate shrubs, 0.50-1 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 140-390 mm long, 20-70 mm wide, hairy; petiole 30-40 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with 15-25 lobes on each side, the margins revolute. Inflorescences villous (with soft, shaggy, weak and straight hairs), pink; innermost bracts 13-15 mm long, hairy. Perianth 32-34 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 31-33 mm long, curved, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, obovate, 10-15 mm long. Flowers in October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority One (P1).
