Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 100-195 mm long, 5-10 mm wide, hairy; petiole 10-15 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with 11-22 lobes on each side, the margins revolute. Inflorescences hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 28-30 mm long, hairy. Perianth 22-28 mm long, glabrous, without awns; pistil 23-32 mm long, straight, style hairy. Follicles hairy, hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), obovate, 11-12 mm long. Flowers in March, April, May or June. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
