Scientific Description

Prostrate shrubs; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 85-240 mm long, 9-12 mm wide, hairy; petiole 20-40 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, deeply divided, with 18-37 lobes on each side, the margins recurved. Inflorescences pink; innermost bracts 12-20 mm long, glabrous. Perianth 20-35 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 30-40 mm long, straight, style glabrous. Follicles hairy, pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), obovate, 7-13 mm long. Flowers in September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
