Erect, sparsely branched, non-lignotuberous shrub, 1-3 m high. Fl. green-yellow-cream, Aug to Nov. Rocky soils. Mountain slopes.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 1-1.5 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 35-145 mm long, 15-30 mm wide, hairy; petiole 3-10 mm long; lamina flat, widest around the middle, once divided, pinnately divided, shallowly divided, teeth distinctly pointing towards the apex or teeth pointing outwards, with 7-20 lobes on each side, the margins flat. Inflorescences silky (with soft, shiny and appressed hairs) or villous (with soft, shaggy, weak and straight hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 6-10 mm long, hairy. Perianth 15-18 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex villous (with soft, shaggy, weak and straight hairs) or hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 15-20 mm long, curved, style glabrous. Follicles hairy, hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), ovate, 10-13 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Four (P4).
