Erect, compact, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.9-2 m high. Fl. cream-yellow, Aug to Oct. Clay, laterite, gravel.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 2-3 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 155-380 mm long, 4-8 mm wide, hairy; petiole 15-22 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, deeply divided, with 8-16 lobes on each side, the margins revolute. Inflorescences pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 8-10 mm long, hairy. Perianth 22-27 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex silky (with soft, shiny and appressed hairs), without awns; pistil 25-30 mm long, curved, style hairy. Follicles hairy, pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), obovate, 11-15 mm long. Flowers in August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Four (P4).
