Service Notice

The Western Australian Herbarium’s collections management system, WAHerb, and DBCA’s flora taxonomic names application, WACensus, have been set to read-only mode since 1 October 2025. Recent taxonomic changes are not currently being reflected in Florabase, herbarium collections, or the census. The project team is now conducting testing of the migrated data, and a further update will be provided by the end of the financial year (1 July). Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets glabrous. Leaves sessile, alternate, 25-48 mm long, 1.6-2 mm wide, hairy; lamina flat, more or less the same width throughout, entire, the margins revolute. Inflorescences tomentose (with matted or tangled, soft, woolly hairs), cream or yellow, hairy. Perianth 30-32 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 35-38 mm long, hooked. Follicles hairy, hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), elliptic. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Mallee (MAL) or Warren (WAR) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
