Service Notice

The Western Australian Herbarium’s collections management system, WAHerb, and DBCA’s flora taxonomic names application, WACensus, have been set to read-only mode since 1 October 2025. Recent taxonomic changes are not currently being reflected in Florabase, herbarium collections, or the census. The project team is now conducting testing of the migrated data, and a further update will be provided by the end of the financial year (1 July). Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets hairy, with straight hairs, not ribbed, not glaucous. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 8-10 mm long, 14-30 mm wide, glabrous; petiole 10-15 mm long; petiole glabrous; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, deeply divided, teeth pointing outwards, with 10-14 lobes on each side, the margins flat or recurved. Inflorescences silky (with soft, shiny and appressed hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 20-30 mm long, hairy. Perianth 30-38 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs); pistil 42-55 mm long, curved, style hairy. Flowers in January, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
