Shrub or tree, 1-4 m high, phyllodes flat, 30-95 mm long, hairy (densely puberulous); spikes simple; pods 3-4 mm wide. Fl. yellow, May to Sep. Red sand, gravelly sandy soils over laterite. Sandplains, sand dunes, floodplains.
