Prostrate annual, herb, to 0.1 m high. Fl. yellow, Jul to Sep. Grey loamy sand, red-brown clay loam, granite, ironstone. Hills, valley slopes, rangelands, roadsides.
Scientific Description
Prostrate,spreading or scrambling, herb. Stems terete, not spiny, hairy; pustules or glands absent. Leaves or phylloclades clearly present, simple, alternate, not continuous with stem, 10-18 mm long, glabrous, flat with flat margins; margins entire, leaflets 3, pinnately arranged, terminal leaflet present, stalked. Stipules present and persistent to older leaves. Calyx with simple hairs (?). Corolla NaN (?) mm long, uniformly coloured, yellow. Stamens ten; anthers NaN (?) mm long. Ovary; style NaN (?) mm long. Fruit 5-6 mm long, stipitate, not constricted between the seeds, round in cross-section, hairy, with simple hairs, not beaked. Flowers in July, August and September. Occurs in the Eremaean and South-West Botanical Province, in the Yalgoo, Murchison, Coolgardie, Geraldton Sandplains, Avon Wheatbelt, Mallee, Esperance and Swan Coastal Plain IBRA regions.
