Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.05-0.5 m high, blade 3-pinnate at the base; sori separate, each protected by reflexed segment of margin. Fl. Aug. Red loamy sand, red clayey loam. Rock crevices, slopes, granite outcrops, near waterfalls or streams.
