Erect or sometimes scrambling, somewhat succulent shrub, 0.1-0.7 m high, flowers 4-merous, petals exceeding calyx, leaflets not articulate, fruits separating into fruitlets. Fl. yellow, Jul to Oct. Sand or clay, calcareous soils. Claypan & salt lake margins, salt marshes.
