Service Notice

The Western Australian Herbarium’s collections management system, WAHerb, and DBCA’s taxonomic names application, WACensus, have been set to read-only mode since 1 October 2025. Recent taxonomic changes are not reflected in Florabase, herbarium collections, or in the census. We are hoping to be able to reinstate services around December 15; we will provide an update at that time.

The notice period started at 9:00 am on Wednesday, 1 October 2025 +08:00 and will end at 12:00 pm on Monday, 15 December 2025 +08:00.

Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 45-50 mm long, 8-32 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, absent hairs; margins entire or toothed. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 3-7 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 3-3.5 mm long, hairy, with dense, simple hairs. Corolla yellow, 11-14 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, simple hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 4.5-5.5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 4-5 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.2-0.5 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 7-7.5 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules one or two. Occurs in the Mallee (MAL) and Warren (WAR) IBRA Region(s), of the South West (SW) Botanical Province. Conservation Code: Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
