Shrub or tree, 1-4 m high. Fl. yellow/white, Dec or Jan or Apr. Sand, limestone or basalt. Rocky situations, sand dunes.

Scientific Description

Shrub, spines present; branchlets smooth, without distinct raised glands, +/- cylindrical in cross-section, covered in hairs or scales, the hairs stellate (star-shaped). Leaves alternate, compound, 80-90 mm long, with 3 leaflets, each 30-50 mm long, 17-25 mm wide, flat, the margins flat, smooth, without distinct raised glands, glabrous; stipular excrescences absent. Flowers; calyx present, 0.5 mm long, smooth, without distinct raised glands, glabrous; corolla pink or yellow, petals four, 5 mm long, imbricate (overlapping), free, glabrous; stamens twice as many as petals. Flowers in January, April and December. Occurs in the Northern Botanical Province, in the North Kimberley, Victoria Bonaparte, Central Kimberley and Dampierland IBRA region(s).
