Scientific Description
Shrub, spines absent; branchlets smooth, without distinct raised glands, +/- cylindrical in cross-section, covered in hairs or scales, the hairs stellate (star-shaped). Leaves opposite, compound, 15-50 mm long, with 5-15 leaflets, each 5-6 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, flat, the margins flat, smooth, without distinct raised glands, covered in hairs or scales, with stellate (star shaped) hairs; stipular excrescences absent. Flowers; pedicels 10-10.5 mm long; calyx present, 4-5 mm long, smooth, without distinct raised glands, covered in hairs or scales, the hairs stellate (star-shaped); corolla pink, petals four, 4-5 mm long, imbricate (overlapping), free, hairy on the surfaces; stamens twice as many as petals. Flowers in March. Occurs in the Northern Botanical Province, in the North Kimberley IBRA region(s). Conservation Code: Priority One (P1).
