Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 3-4 mm long, 0.5-0.8 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous), not papillate; margins entire. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 4-6 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 9-10 mm long, glabrous. Corolla blue, 20-25 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, simple hairs, glabrous on the inside, 2-2.5 mm wide, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 2-2.5 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 17-20 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in October, November and December. Occurs in the Mallee (MAL) IBRA Region(s), of the South West (SW) Botanical Province. Conservation Code: Conservation code Priority One (P1).
