Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0 m high; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves alternate, 25-80 mm long, 2.5-9 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, widest around the middle, entire. Inflorescences axillary, cream; pedicels 3-5 mm long. Perianth 5-6 mm long, glabrous; ovary glabrous; pistil 5-7 mm long, pollen presenter conical, style glabrous. Follicles 21-37 mm long, 15-20 mm wide, corky tetrahedral projections (on external surfaces of fruit) absent; seed 12-20 mm long (including wing), 7-8 mm wide, the wing continuous. Flowers in July, August, September or October. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
