Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.5-2 m high, fronds 3-4-pinnate basally; circular nectary at base of each pinna; sori linear, marginal. Laterite gravel, white sand, red loam, brown clay. Moist sandy soils, along creeks in eucalypt forest.
