Erect, dense shrub, 0.2-1(-2) m high, leaves discolorous, usually 8-17 mm long; style 1-1.5 mm long; disc shallowly 5-lobed. Fl. red/red-pink, Feb to Sep. Grey/white sand. Coastal areas, sandplains.
