Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.03-0.12 m high, fronds 1-pinnate; pinnae with mostly eglandular hairs; sori in radiating lines, without indusium. Fl. Apr to May or Sep. Red-brown loam, orange clayey sand. Rock crevices, particularly where rock overhangs, granite outcrops.
