Slender, erect shrub, to 1.5 m high. Fl. blue-purple, Sep to Dec or Jan to Feb. Sandy, often gravelly soils over granite or laterite, alluvium. Lateritic ridges, granite outcrops, undulating plains, low winter-wet areas.
