Erect to decumbent perennial, herb or shrub, 0.2-0.5 m high. Fl. yellow, Sep to Dec or Jan. Yellow sand, sandy gravel. Sandplains.
Scientific Description
Stems ribbed. Leaves flat, 15-35 mm long, 6-20 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, dendritic hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 2-3 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel absent (flowers sessile). Calyx lobes absent. Corolla yellow, 11-15 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, dendritic hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 3-6.5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 7.5-9 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 0.7-1 mm wide on the narrower side, 1-1.5 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers connate. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 5.5-7 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, glabrous; ovules one or two. Flowers in January, September, October and November. Occurs in the Yalgoo (YAL), Murchison (MUR), Coolgardie (COO), Geraldton Sandplains (GS) and Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
