Ascending to decumbent annual or perennial, herb, to 0.2 m high. Fl. yellow, Jul to Oct. Sand dunes.
Scientific Description
Stems ribbed. Leaves flat, 20-50 mm long, 5-10 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, glandular hairs; margins entire or lobed. Bracteoles absent, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 15-20 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 3-4 mm long, hairy, with sparse, simple hairs. Corolla yellow, 9-17 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, simple hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 3-5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 6.5-8 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 0.4-0.6 mm wide on the narrower side, 0.7-1.2 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 5-5.5 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in July, August, September and October. Occurs in the Central Ranges (CR) and Great Sandy Desert (GSD) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) Botanical Province.
