Scientific Description

Stems ribbed. Leaves flat, 15-80 mm long, 8-10 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, glandular hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 2.5-5 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 6-15 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 5.5-7 mm long, hairy, with dense, simple hairs. Corolla yellow, 18-20 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, simple hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 5-7 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 8.5-12 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 1-1.2 mm wide on the narrower side, 1.5-1.6 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 8-9.5 mm long, rarely hairy or glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in May, June, July, August and September. Occurs in the Murchison (MUR), Central Ranges (CR), Gascoyne (GAS) and Little Sandy Desert(LSD) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) Botanical Province.
