Erect shrub, 0.3-2 m high. Fl. white, Sep to Dec or Jan. Rocky soils. Granite or quartzite rocks, steep slopes.

Scientific Description

Stems ribbed. Leaves compressed, 8-20 mm long, 0.5-0.8 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous); margins entire. Bracteoles present, 1-1.8 mm long, glabrous. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 1.7-3 mm long, glabrous. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 1-1.2 mm long, glabrous. Corolla white, without auricles, not spurred, glabrous on the outside, hairy or glabrous on the inside, with wings, 0.3-0.4 mm wide, wings present on both sides. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 4.7-7.5 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in January, September, October, November and December. Occurs in the Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA Region(s), of the South West (SW) Botanical Province. Conservation Code: Conservation code Priority Four (P4).
