Erect to ascending, viscid herb, 0.15-0.6 m high. Fl. yellow, Mar or May to Nov. Red sandy, often stony soils.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 15-60 mm long, 1-2 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, glandular hairs; margins entire or lobed. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 10-20 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with glandular hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 2-3 mm long, hairy, with sparse, glandular hairs. Corolla yellow, 16-24 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, glandular hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 4.5-14 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 9-17 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 1-1.5 mm wide on the narrower side, 1.7-2.2 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 7-8 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October and November. Occurs in the Pilbara (PIL), Murchison (MUR), Carnarvon (CAR), Gascoyne (GAS) and Little Sandy Desert(LSD) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) Botanical Province.
