Prostrate shrub. Fl. yellow, Oct to Nov. Sand. Coastal limestone cliffs & dunes.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 10-35 mm long, 9-45 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous); margins toothed. Bracteoles present, 0.5-0.7 mm long, glabrous. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 1.5-3.5 mm long, glabrous. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 2-2.5 mm long, glabrous. Corolla yellow, 10-12 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, glabrous on the outside, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 3-4 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 5.5-7.5 mm long, wings present on both sides, 1-1.5 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 4-5 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in October and November. Occurs in the Coolgardie (COO), Hampton (HAM) and Mallee (MAL) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province. Conservation Code: Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
