Prostrate shrub, 0.03-0.15 m high. Fl. blue-white, Aug to Nov. Sandy soils, clay loam. Damp situations.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 10-35 mm long, 0.8-1 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous); margins entire. Bracteoles present, 5-7 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel absent (flowers sessile). Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 1-2 mm long, glabrous. Corolla blue, 10-11 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, glabrous on the outside, with sparse, simple hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 2.5-3 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 2.5-3 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.2-1 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 8-9 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, glabrous; ovules one or two. Flowers in August, September, October and November. Occurs in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) and Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA Region(s), of the South West (SW) Botanical Province.
