Caespitose perennial, herb, 0.2-0.75 m high, Leaves tufted, broadly linear to oblanceolate, (5-) 10-26 cm long, (1.5-) 2-9 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glabrous. Scape glabrous at base, glandular along inflorescence axis. Inflorescence paniculate. Fl. pink, Aug to Oct. Sandy loam, granite. Uplands, often adjacent to granite outcrops. Acacia and Allocasuarina shrubland/ woodland.
