Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.08-0.4 m high, Leaves tufted, linear, 3.5-16 cm long, 1.1-2.2 mm wide, apex acute, margin involute, scabrous. Membraneous scale leaves present at base of mature leaves. Scape glandular throughout, pilose at base. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. pink, Oct to Nov. Laterite soils. Upland, breakaways. Eucalypt woodland or shrubland.
