Caespitose perennial, herb, 0.12-0.35 m high, leaves tufted, linear to narrowly oblanceolate, 1-5 cm long, 0.8-2.5 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glandular. Scape glandular throughout. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. yellow, Oct to Nov. Brown to red-brown clay loam. Winter-wet habitats and depressions, open woodland, shrubland.
