The Western Australian Herbarium’s collections management system, WAHerb, and DBCA’s flora taxonomic names application, WACensus, have been set to read-only mode since 1 October 2025. Recent taxonomic changes are not currently being reflected in Florabase, herbarium collections, or the census. Due to the substantial work involved in data mapping, cleaning, and verification, the migration to the new collection management software is not expected to occur before 1 May 2026, when a further update will be provided. Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, with straight hairs. Leaves alternate, 30-50 mm mm long, glabrous; lamina flat, twice or more divided, pinnately divided, divided to the midrib, with (2-)3-7(-14) points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 15-40 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, pink. Perianth 21-26 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy at the apex only; pistil 22-28 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 4-4.7 mm long, the brush 1-2 mm long. Cone with deciduous scales, 15-20 mm long. Flowers in May, August, September, October, November or December. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
