Spreading shrub, 0.4-1.2 m high. Fl. white-cream/yellow, Oct to Nov. Deep yellow sand. Sandplains.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy, not glaucous. Leaves alternate, 55-70 mm long, 5-8 mm wide, hairy, on the adaxial or abaxial surface, the hairs straight; lamina flat, widest around the middle or more or less the same width throughout, entire, the margins flat. Inflorescences axillary or terminal, white; pedicels 3-5 mm long. Perianth 3-5 mm long; tepals all free after flower opens, glabrous; ovary glabrous, stipitate, the stipe 0.5-1 mm long; pistil 7-10 mm long, white, pollen presenter erect, style glabrous. Follicles glabrous, not viscid, dehiscent, 12-18 mm long. Flowers in August, September or October. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s).
