Papers published in Nuytsia today include: recognition of a new species, Exocarpus capnodioides (Santalaceae), named for its dark hairs that resemble an infection of a sooty mould; a history of the arrangement of plant specimens at the Western Australian Herbarium; notes on recognising Albizia lebbeck (Fabaceae) as an introduced species to WA; the phrase-naming of a potentially new species of Calandrinia (Montiaceae); and a revision of the Western Australian genus Balaustion (Myrtaceae), which includes 16 new taxa.
