New names have been published today in Leucopogon, Cynodon, Goodenia and Thryptomene.
Amongst the novel species are Thryptomene pieroniae (pictured), named for botanical artist Margaret Pieroni, and Goodenia vanleeuweniana, named for Professor Stephen van Leeuwen, BHP Curtin Indigenous Chair of Biodiversity and Environmental Science.
A new weed record for Western Australia is also documented.
