Erect to spreading annual, herb, to 0.5 m high, leaves (2-)3-9 mm wide; stamens 1.5-2.2 mm long; style very short up to 0.2 mm long. Fl. white/pink/purple, Jan to Jul. Skeletal and sandy soils. Sandstone and granite outcrops, open woodland.
