Sprawling, prostrate annual, herb, to 0.3 m high, leaves 16-40(-50) mm long, 1-3(-5) mm wide; stems reddish, slightly hairy. Fl. white-pink-red, Mar to Sep. Red sand, sandy clay. Plains or sandy rises, pindan understorey, sometimes rocky areas.
