Bushy, upright annual, herb, to 0.4 m high, with bright green foliage. Fl. green-yellow, Jun to Sep. Orange-brown sand, red sand over limestone, grey clayey sand over calcrete, sandy loam, silt. Coastal areas, gently sloping sand plains, between dunes, dry creek beds, rocky flats and hillsides, road verges.
