Upright annual or perennial, herb, to 0.35 m high, with bright green foliage. Fl. green-yellow, Apr to May or Oct. Red sand over sandstone, red-brown clayey loam, gravelly loam, alluvial sandy loam, quartzite, laterite. Dunes, flats, gently sloping hills, dry creek beds, low rise in salt lake.
